I was born in Northern Germany and I grew up in Frankfurt, Wiesbaden and Heidelberg.
I started painting at the age of 14. In the late 70´s I studied Art & Design at the University of Applied Sciences Mannheim, Department of Design
In the 80´s I owned and operated a shop in Wiesbaden for art handicraft
In the 90´s I spent a lot of time travelling to places like Ibiza, Bali, Bahamas - which all left their own special impressions and tastes.
In the 2000`s I fell in love with a Greek Island which became my second home and through the influence of the light and colours from my natural environment my painting style developed and was influenced to more free forms.
In the beginning I had been fascinated by detail. Later I became interested in more Abstract forms and more and more I realise my free expressions.
